Industry 4.0 - General Vision Inspection with Deep Learning Approach (GVI-DL)
A project which utilizing Machine Vision with A.I. (Deep Learning) to create a low-cost yet robust inspection technology. The project involves in collecting manufacturing product images and using deep learning method to recognize between various good and bad products.
Competitive advantages:
— This project can be applied to all industries as long as we can collect good and bad images for A.I. model training:
— Shorter implementation time and lesser fine-tune. Do not need a big machines such as Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines but using a smaller camera module.
— Lower cost of implementation.
This is a collaboration project between USM & Vitrox Malaysia.
