ANDROID APPLICATION FOR WASTE/RECYCLE CLASSIFICATION AND MANAGEMENT

This video describes the project details and a demo of the project, for the Final Year Project: [SC192025] Android Application for Waste/Recycle Classification and Management by Chong Tao Ying (132895).

This project is proposed to address the issue faced by people when they carry out waste segregation. The mobile application in the project utilizes Image Classification to identify and classify images of waste items into categories of recyclable items (Cardboard, Glass, Metal, Paper, Plastic) and non-recyclable items (trash). For the Web-based Management Panel, it will be the platform for the recycling center management staff to manage requests of recycled items and view statistics of recycled items.

The project consists of a Mobile Application for standard users, and a Web-based Management Panel for managers and administrators.
