Feature Expansion using Lexical Ontology for Opinion Type Detection in Tourism Reviews Domain

It is a research on Feature Expansion using Lexical Ontology for Opinion Type Detection in Tourism Reviews Domain. This research is to investigate the feature expansion approach of opinion type detection.

Motivation: Tourists often rely on online reviews to seek out the opinions and experiences provided when planning for their knowledge or vacations. However, if review sentences are present in a vast amount they can be burdensome for humans to analyze and read each review in every sentence on the review site. Hence, the aim of this research is to help the tourist to easily digest the vast availability of opinion by detecting and categorizing the reviews.

Research Objective: To improve opinion type detection using a lexical ontology approach for the tourism domain.

Problem statement:
1) to solve the missing out-of-vocabulary (OOV) keywords.
2) to solve limited labeled data in a review for opinion type detection.
