ECOSAIL: AN AUTONOMOUS SAILBOAT FOR ENVIRONMENT MONITORING

ECOSAIL is an autonomous sailboat that utilised the Internet of Things (IoT) technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to collect ocean water quality data for marine environment monitoring purpose. The collected data will be analysed on the cloud server and information will be visualised in web and mobile application. The project aims to develop a control system and navigation for the unmanned sailboat that fitted with various sensors to drive itself autonomously to any user specified location. Water quality analysis system to analyse the collected water quality data and capable to generate notification notify user while providing historical data review in analytics map and graphical charts. Web and mobile applications is developed for users to setup the destination for the sailboat and preview or monitor the collected water quality data as well.
